The protection of your personal data is of utmost importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). This privacy policy explains the most important aspects of data processing on our website

Data Storage

We would like to point out that for the purpose of a simpler shopping process and for later contract processing, the web shop operator stores the IP data of the connection holder in the context of cookies, as well as the name, address and credit card number of the buyer.

A transfer of data to third parties does not take place, with the exception of the transfer of the credit card data to the processing bank / payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us to deliver the goods and to our tax advisor to fulfil our tax obligations.

In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the tax retention period (7 years) expires.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) on this website to statistically evaluate visitor data. The service uses “cookies”; text files that are stored on your device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymization applies to this website. The user’s IP address is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This shortening eliminates the personal reference to your IP address. As part of the data processing agreement that the website operator has concluded with Google Inc., the website operator uses the information collected to evaluate website usage and website activity and provides services related to internet usage.

You have the option of preventing the storage of cookies on your device by adjusting the appropriate settings in your browser. There is no guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.

You can also use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. The following link leads you to the corresponding plugin: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

You can find more information on data protection from Google Inc at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245.

Newsletter

We send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications with information (hereinafter “newsletter”) only with the consent of the recipient.

The registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure, i.e. after registering, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with someone else’s email address.

The registrations for the newsletter are logged in order to be able to demonstrate the registration process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes storing the time of registration and confirmation, as well as the IP address. Changes to your data stored at MailChimp are also logged.

The newsletter is sent using “MailChimp”, a newsletter distribution platform from the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in this notice, are stored on MailChimp’s servers in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. According to its own information, MailChimp can also use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them themselves or to pass them on to third parties.

We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement “Privacy Shield” and is therefore committed to complying with EU data protection regulations. Furthermore, we have concluded a “Data Processing Agreement” with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp undertakes to protect our users’ data, to process them on our behalf in accordance with their data protection regulations and, in particular, not to pass them on to third parties.

Your rights

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection regarding your data. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the “Datenschutzbehörde”.
