Rum truffles are a Christmas classic that can be made quickly and easily. We used the following recipe and were blown away with the result.
The best thing about rum truffles? You don’t need to bake them and they contain no eggs, so feel free to snack away with pleasure during mixing.
Ingredients for approximately 60 rum truffles:
Let the butter melt and stir in all the other ingredients. Let the mixture rest for at least 1 hour. While waiting, feel free to taste the dough.
Fill the coconut flakes and chocolate flakes into 2 smaller bowls, form balls out of the dough and roll them in the coconut or chocolate flakes.
Store the truffles as cool as possible so that they become a little firmer.
